The headliner fabrics are foam-backed to keep the interior cool and to keep the outside noise low

Due to heat, cold and humidity over time the foam breaks down and starts turning into powder 

The old foam needs to be cleaned and replaced with a new matching foam-backing headlining fabric.

Regluing the old fabric will not work as the old foam has oils which will react with the new glue and will not stick. 

Headliner replacements start from $300.00 and usually takes 3-6 hours depending on make and model.
